Within communities, it's important to establish relationships with other members in order for the community to function well. My thought process told me that a "Favorite Sports Team" thread may facilitate this; however, I thought that this may alienate some members who have no interest in sports at all. So, I thought that a "roll call" type of thread could help us get to know each other a little better.

I'll start:
Job Stuff: Webmaster at a large organization in Central Ohio. I have aspirations of one day owning my own web design company for small businesses. I've been in the IT field for eleven years (four of which were in the Army) doing everything from communications, network & PC support, and IT project managment, to photography, web and graphic design.
Interests: Of course everything HD--but included in that is everything technology. I get myself in so much trouble with my desire to be bleeding edge all of the time. Movies, Music, and yeah, sports :D
Personal: Lived in New Albany for 7 years, just built a house there 2 years ago. I'm married, no kids, no pets. I've lived all over the world, and the U.S., favorite place which I lived was Brussels, Belgium. Moved back to Columbus in 98 after living in Cincinnati and driving every day for a contract job @ Qwest (LCI) in Dublin.
Favorite Music: Depends on my mood.... Alternative and indie rock for the most part, I really like Beck (old school stuff), Linkin Park, a little Dave Matthews never hurts, Phish, um... Southern rock, like Charlie Daniels (his old stuff is fantastic), Gwen Stefani is bad assed, Train, Tim McGraw puts on a good show, love Pink Floyd--I wish they would tour the U.S. again, they were phenominal @ Live 8, a little techno/dance hip hop can work from time to time too.... I can pretty much listen to anything!
Favorite Books: Anything penned by Anne Rice... She is amazing.
