Just bought MyHD MDP-130 and setup on an old P3-1000, working great!
Now I have Time Warner basic, and I can recording QAM channels of WCMH-DT and WBNS-DT, 53, ans WOSU.
I was wondering if the same can be applied to Satellite, like Dish. I remembered somewhere that FCC mandated all local channels must be sent in clear QAM by cable companies. And I read somewhere all satellite signals are QAM, so I don't now if the same applies (yes, you know where I am going with this...ABC, Fox).
MyHD does accept 2 inputs, but my basement reception for ABC is rather spotty...If I wear a tin foil hat, do a one leg stand, and hold my breath, the signal is stable!
